Hypersonic
Formed in 2006 by Salvo Grasso and Emanuele Gangemi, Hypersonic quickly solidified their lineup with Alessia Rapisarda, Francesco Caruso, and Dario Caruso. In 2011, their debut album "Fallen Melodies" (Underground Symphony Records) hit the scene, earning praise from metal magazines and fans alike. This success propelled them to the Elements Of Rock festival in Switzerland in 2012. Following a string of Italian shows promoting their debut, Hypersonic retreated to the studio in 2015 to craft their sophomore effort, "Existentia." This concept album delved into the human condition and the mysteries of the afterlife. The single "Prayer In The Dark" became an instant fan favorite, and the entire album (released on Revalve Records) garnered critical acclaim. Hypersonic embarked on a European tour, conquering stages in the UK, Sweden (Maximum Rock Festival), Romania, Netherlands, and Switzerland, achieving impressive sales and chart placements. A change came in 2019 when singer Alessia Rapisarda departed for personal reasons. Hypersonic responded by welcoming the talented Eleonora Russo, their "Dark Queen" and a skilled songwriter. The band released the single "Path Of Salvation" and continued to tour Europe, including a metal festival in Sweden and the Brainstorm fest in the Netherlands. The 2020 lockdown proved to be a creative period for Hypersonic. They channeled their experiences into new music, culminating in a record deal with Rockshots Records in 2024 for their highly anticipated third album, "Kaosmogonia." This full-length offering tackles themes of human vulnerability, exploring depression, fear, destructive relationships, and the yearning for a brighter future. "Kaosmogonia" hits stores in April 2024, preceded by the powerful single "Mother Earth" released on February 2nd. With a new album on the horizon and a seasoned lineup, Hypersonic is poised to continue their reign in the metal world, offering powerful music and a message of hope.
